Paris, April 18, 2015, the day of the La Cigale show. From the runner van on Daniel Lanois’ Flesh and Machine tour, a motorcyclist leans through a roundabout while the city pulls into streaks around the bike. It was shot at 1/13 s and f/22 on a Canon 5D Mark III.

The frames I picked from that day on Daniel Lanois’ Flesh and Machine tour, the day of the La Cigale show. The motorcyclist is frame 3464, the one listed here. The rest are from the same stretch of the day.

Seth Loeser was our tour manager on that run, and he was probably in the seat beside me when I took this. He passed recently, and this frame came back to me with him.
