MY TENNESSEE
My Tennessee is an ongoing panographic survey of abandoned structures across rural Dickson County. Each image is assembled from multiple frames into a field of view wider than the eye's natural take — a format the subject demands, since these buildings are inseparable from the land that has begun to reclaim them. Rendered in pure black and white, the work strips away the seasonal and the sentimental, leaving structure, texture, and the geometry of collapse. The series is less a documentary record than a sustained act of attention: an inquiry into labor, inheritance, and what a place keeps of the people who left it.
