I’m a Nashville-based, Canadian Director and Cinematographer working across music, performance, documentary, and narrative film. My work lives at the intersection of cinematic storytelling and live experience—shaped by rhythm, time, and the emotional architecture of performance.

I collaborate closely with artists, producers, and creative teams to develop visuals that feel intentional, immersive, and human—whether on a soundstage, on tour, or deep in the field.

DIRECTION

As a director, I focus on translating feeling into form—guiding performances, shaping visual language, and building worlds that support the story beneath the surface.

My directing work includes music videos, performance films, branded content, and documentary projects. I’m often brought in early to help clarify creative direction, develop visual concepts, and align storytelling with production realities.

A Canadian based in Nashville, I work locally and travel frequently for projects across the U.S. and internationally.

CINEMATOGRAPHY / DP

I work as a director of photography on projects ranging from commercial and documentary work to live performance and narrative film. My approach emphasizes authenticity, natural movement, thoughtful composition, and a deep sensitivity to light.

I’m comfortable operating as a solo cinematographer or collaborating within larger crews, adapting to the scale and needs of each production. Whether the goal is intimacy, spectacle, or something in between, my role is to support the story visually with precision and restraint.

Music, Performance & Live Capture

A significant portion of my work centers on music and performance—capturing live moments with cinematic intention. This includes concert films, tour visuals, performance documentation, and experimental pieces created in collaboration with artists.

I understand the pace and pressure of live environments and design camera systems and visual strategies that respect both the performance and the audience experience.

Creative & Visual Consulting

In addition to directing and cinematography, I provide creative consulting for projects in development—helping teams shape visual language, camera strategy, and production workflows.

This includes pre-production planning, visual references, camera tests, and collaborative concept development for music, film, and performance-based projects. It is actually where I thrive, in conception. I have been working with experimental techniques since I began as a visual artist, a strength that I bring to every project but also a speciality that has led me to design stage shows and content for Daniel Lanois, Jason Isbell, and numerous other performers and venues. My work has been used as living video sculptures in Performing Arts Centers and galleries across North America and on stages worldwide.
