Lincvolt Nearing Lightspeed, Nevada

from $100.00

An infrared Spacetime Painting of the Lincvolt crossing Nevada in 2013. The Lincvolt is Neil Young's 1959 Lincoln Continental, rebuilt as a 6,700-pound proof of concept for clean transportation: electric drive, with a small generator running on cellulosic ethanol. The desert and mountains stream past while the car holds steady in the frame. For Adam it stood for the future that year: lightspeed on lightfuel.
